The Plan
Walk 9K for K9 Concern
You can walk it all in one day or spread it across the 9 days. It will take between 1½ and 2½ hours of walking time to complete, (unless you have a coffee/ice cream break in between).
Please don’t feel you need to be sponsored to join in, just set yourself the challenge and let us know how you got on and where you walked. However, enjoying the walk and raising funds to ensure we will continue for years to come is a double win.
The Route
We have a planned route in Eastbourne along the prom where it won’t be so muddy after all this rain! Hopefully a group of us will participate, but please organise your walk any where and any time as long as it is 9km and during the 9 days of 9th-18th February.
Why February?
This will be a build up to Canine Concern’s Birthday. It was 28th February 1988 Eve Waring, our founder, registered Canine Concern .Then 28th February 2018 Canine Concern became a CIO. It continues to grow and has become a strong, friendly, supporting charity.
Sign up via the form below or email: admin@canineconcern.co.uk for you and your dogs to take part. The more sign up’s the more we can raise. If you and or your dog are not able to take part in the challenge, you can still support us by making a direct donation. Once you have signed up, you will receive your sponsorship pack. This will include stickers for any children you meet, flyers for anyone interested in the charity, and most importantly your sponsorship form
The route will be from The Perch in Princes Park to the café at the bottom of Holywell Mount, then back to The Perch. The full route will be exactly 9km.
The plan is to find the date and time that as many of you, our members can make. As the British weather can be unpredictable, and we have 9 days in February to complete this, hopefully we will find a good time for many of you so we can enjoy the social event and raise funds for the charity.
PLEASE EMAIL admin@canineconcern.co.uk or register above TO REGISTER YOUR INTEREST AND YOUR PREFERRED TIME.
