100 laps completed!
Congratulations to Joseph and the staff of Purple Oaks Academy for completing more than 100 laps of the MUGA and raising over £140 for Canine Concern.
Joseph is a pupil at Purple Oaks Academy which is a special free school for students with autism and learning difficulties.
Their vision is to provide an inspiring curriculum which prepares students for a successful working life, stable relationships and rewarding community engagement.
Purple Oaks have two very special visitors every week: Bella and Bear, who are care dogs with Canine Concern.
Joseph decided to take on the challenge to thank Bella and Bear and their owners, Sue and Rob, for their visits every Friday when they visit the students at the academy.
It is with great pride that we thank Joseph for his determination and achievement in completing this challenge.
Each person with autism has a distinct set of strengths; Joseph is no exception and has greatly challenged himself in this achievement.
Canine Concern Comments
Joseph – our Trustees and staff thank you for your devotion and efforts to our charity. The fundraising from this will help to ensure that we can continue to provide care dogs to members of the community that will benefit from a visit from four-legged friends.
