This is Flake. She was born on 29th April 2022 to mum, Mo, and Dad, Lex, both owned by Sharon Lambert. Flake is a gorgeous chocolate labrador who will hopefully become a good Canine Concern care dog.

We thought this month we would focus on our lovely charity, Canine Concern, which is now in its 35th year. Canine Concern was formed in 1988 by Eve Waring, who had seen how important dog visits were to the elderly and lonely. Eve believed in reaching out to people through their dogs.
Congratulations to Joseph and the staff of Purple Oaks Academy for completing more than 100 laps of the MUGA and raising over £140 for Canine Concern.
In 1995, quite by chance, I saw a TV programme on volunteering. They were talking about finding more volunteers for visiting dog teams to help the vulnerable and lonely.
